So you’ve never worked with a travel agent before…
But you are planning a family vacation to Universal Orlando or Disney, and suddenly you’re drowning in decisions.
What hotel is actually right for your family?
What tickets do you need to see and do everything?
How many park days is “enough” without exhausting everyone?
You could spend hours researching, comparing options, and second-guessing every decision…
Or you could send me a quick email and have a clear, customized plan within 48 hours.
Let me walk you through exactly what it looks like to work with a travel agent—step by step.
Start Here: Why Even Use a Travel Agent?
You might be wondering…
Are travel agents even still a thing?
And if they are—why would I use one?
Travel agents like me specialize in the destinations we book. I focus exclusively on Universal and Disney, which means I don’t just know how to book your trip—I know how to make it work once you’re there.
Sure, you can Google all the information needed to book a vacation.
What Google won’t tell you is:

- Which hotel actually makes sense for your kids
- What tickets are worth the money (and which aren’t)
- How many days you realistically need in the parks
- How to avoid common planning mistakes that lead to stress and burnout
If you don’t want to miss important steps—or waste time and money figuring it out as you go—that’s where I come in.
Step 1: Fill Out My Quote Request Form
The first step to working with me is filling out my quote request form.
Some travel agents charge planning fees and some don’t, but either way, the majority of our commission comes from the destination you’re traveling to—not from you.
The form gives me everything I need to start building a trip that fits your family, including:
- Travel dates
- Who’s in your party
- Ages of your kids
- Interests and priorities
This allows me to create a general plan for where you should stay and which ticket options make the most sense—without overwhelm.
Step 2: Receive Your Custom Vacation Options
Once I have your information, I’ll get to work.
Within 48 hours, you’ll receive a personalized quote with:
- 1–3 carefully chosen options (never endless choices)
- Hotel details and why each one may be a good fit
- Ticket recommendations
- Optional add-ons you may want to consider

Each option includes a clear overview of hotel perks, amenities, and benefits that matter to families.
You review everything and choose the option that feels best.
No guesswork. No decision paralysis.
Step 3: Secure Your Trip With a Deposit
Once you’ve chosen your vacation, we’ll place a deposit to lock it in.
You’ll provide:
- First and last names for everyone in your party
- Payment through a secure credit card authorization form
Typical deposits:
- Universal Orlando: $50 per person (hotel + tickets)
- Disney World: $200 total (hotel + tickets)
Deposits are fully refundable until:
- 45 days before travel for Universal
- 30 days before travel for Disney
That flexibility means you can:
- Change hotels
- Add dining or extras
- Apply promotions
- Adjust plans as your trip gets closer
You’re locked in—but not locked down.
Step 4: Planning Support & Expert Guidance (This Is the Big One)
Booking your vacation is just the beginning.
This is where the real magic of working with a travel agent happens.
Once you’re booked, you get:

- My Universal or Disney planning guides
- Wizarding World of Harry Potter tips
- Lightning Lane or Express Pass guidance
- Packing lists
- Park navigation strategies
- Ongoing support leading up to your trip
You also get direct access to me for questions—big or small.
Instead of sorting through conflicting advice on Google, Facebook, TikTok, or Reddit, you have one expert who actually knows your trip and your family.
Step 5: Take the Trip (Confident, Prepared, and Stress-Free)
Now it’s time to do the fun part—make memories.
You walk into your vacation feeling:
- Prepared instead of overwhelmed
- Confident instead of anxious
- Excited instead of exhausted
And if anything comes up while you’re there?
I’m still here—whether you need help contacting a hotel, adjusting plans, or figuring something out in real time.
